| Why Should We Dump Jeb ? |
No matter how you slice it, whether your guy won or lost, the complete incompetence
shown in the 2000 Presidential election and the lack of a resolution to this problem
shows a continued inability to solve important problems.
That's just that. The only worse than that colossal screw-up was the Democratic primary. Once again, Jeb failed to lead us out of the quagmire - instead, blaming everyone but himself. Now THAT'S some leadership, huh ? "Am I embarrassed ? No, I'm not embarrassed, they should be embarrassed" Jeb was quoted as saying referring to the election officials in the counties with voting irregularities. Last I checked, it's always the top guy's fault when something screws up - heck, if he's going to take credit for everything, including policies that were enacted before he became Governor (see "Separating fact from fiction" - The requirement that felons to serve 85% of their time took effect October 1, 1995, well before Bush became Governor) then he damn well better take the blame when things screw up under him. But not this guy, he only takes the credit. That's Jeb, taking credit where no credit is due and shifting the blame away when the blame is due. |
